Pay: $13 per 30-minute visit plus mileage and reimbursement

Cats & Cat Sitting

Tell us about your experience with cats. This can include your own cats, fostering, volunteering, pet sitting, veterinary experience or other experience caring for cats.

Are you comfortable performing all of the following?

Scooping and cleaning litter boxes
Cleaning vomit or occasional pet accidents
Handling wet and dry cat food
Playing and interacting with cats
Caring for shy or fearful cats
Following detailed feeding instructions
Giving oral or topical medication when trained
Bringing in mail/packages when requested
Sending detailed visit updates and photos through an app

A client is cheduled for a morning visit between 7-10 AM. You wake up sick and realize you cannot safely complete the visit. What would you do?

You arrive for a visit buy cannot find one of the client's cats. What would you do?

During a visit, you notice that a cat hasn't eaten, there's vomit on the floor and the cat is hiding when the client said they normally greet visitors. What would you do?

At the end of each visit, we provide our clients with a detailed update about the visit. Using this scenario, please provide an update for this visit. Today you have visited Mattie, Blaze, Benny and Glenn. Mattie is an outgoing social cat who will greet you at the door. Blaze is skittish so you may not see him. Benny and Glenn are both outgoing and love to play with wand toys. The client has asked you to feed Mattie, Benny and Glenn wet food, leave a treat for Blaze, refresh the water bowls, scoop the litterboxes and ensure that the dry food bowls have food in them. During this visit you did not see Blaze. A package arrived for them and you collected their mail.
